Events

The Museum of Covilhã hosts the exhibition "A Journey through Philharmonic: from the nineteenth century to the twenty-first century", between September 1st and December 29th, 2024 and has the exhibition of the collection of the 9 philharmonics of the municipality.

Ten panels are shown, one alluding to each of the bands, and an explanatory panel of the philharmonic's path and its establishment in the region, in the city and in the various parishes of the municipality.

The exhibition brings together the Caseguense Philharmonic Band, Cortense Philharmonic Band, Covilhã Band, Eradense Philharmonic Band, Paul Philharmonic Band, Sanjorgense Philharmonic Band, Estrela Philharmonic Band, Verdelhos Popular Philharmonic Band and the Carvalhense Philharmonic Band.
